PART
TWO
<PLAYS "FEEL LIKE MAKIN' LOVE" QUEEN +
PAUL RODGERS
BC: Welcome back to Rockline.
What a grouping of songs to choose from. (Chuckles) It's
insane. Some more tour dates, Buffalo, New York on the
17th March, the 20th Pittsburgh. Cleveland, Ohio sees
Queen Plus Paul Rodgers on the 21st, the 23rd in Chicago,
the 24th of March outside Detroit in Auburn Hills. I'm
Bob Coburn. More of your calls coming up for Queen Plus
Paul Rodgers. We have Brian, Roger and Paul taking your
calls. From Mountains in Southern California, from Big
Bear, Robbie - welcome to Rockline.
ROBBY: Yes - Mr Paul Rodgers.
PR: Oh, good evening.
ROBBY: Robby Wilson calling
from . . . , California. How are yu doing? We hear you
have a solo CD coming up, possibly Blues?
PR: Oh - ah, yeah. There
was a CD I recorded some time in Lorelei in Germany,
and there is some Blues on there, absolutely.
BC: When might we see that
in the United States?
PR: It is coming out in
a couple of months.
BC: In a couple of months
and we can to go. . .
PR: End of March.
BC: paulrodgers.com and
find out more about it there?
PR: . . the website . .
.
BC: Okay.
PR: Yeah.
BC: We'll be looking out
for it there. Next caller is in Brentford, Connecticut.
And this Susan. Welcome to Rockline.
SUSAN: Thank you. Hello
everybody.
BM: Hi Susan.
SUSAN: My question is, what
is the funniest thing that's happened to you on your
World Tour, so far?
RT: (laughing) On the World
Tour. I mean, I suppose this is part of a World Tour.
I dunno.
PR: It's turned into a World
Tour.
RT: Yeah.
PR: Yeah, that's probably
one of the most amazing things about it, is that it's
turned into, instead of a couple of dates in London,
it's turned into an entire World Tour, and here we are
. . .
RT: Yeah.
PR: . . . on the brink
of an American and Canadian Tour.
BM: That's the funniest
thing really.
(All laugh)
BM: You've bowled over.
RT: It's that funny.
(more laughing)
BM: Life is such a laugh.
BC: It is, if you intend
it to be. It's always the best way to take it, with a
heaping of humour. Is there anything that stands out
as outrageous or ridiculous? You've seen so much over
the years between the three of you.
(All laugh)
BC: Okay. Anything we can
relate on the radio?
PR: Do you remember flying
over Germany, the last, when we were doing Europe and
everything, and they had problems with the plane. And we
sat in the back thinking "Oh-My-God"?
RT: Yes.
