"Looking for Mayniacs???"

Here we are in a new place! You’ll notice by the decoration that it’s a new house - though some of you may have come to the old address, and been redirected here as if by magic, so fast you didn’t notice anything was different!

The front door is different, shiny and new, thanks to the tireless work of WebMistress Jen (and Family!) but that’s only the beginning; the house is also shiny and new inside, with lots of wide-open space for the new developments we plan to build.

Thanks to the vision and generosity of the late Tim Davis (aided by webmaster Jayme DeCas) a community of Queen devotees was born around 1998.

It grew and flourished, and divided into many parts, all under Tim’s wing. When he died his lovely wife, Ellis, carried on the support and guidance of all these Queen communities, in accordance with Tim’s wishes that his legacy would continue to foster the Spirit of this ‘family’ into the future.

When I (BM) finally started to become “web-literate” around 2001 and began to communicate through Jen’s existing site, Ellis let me know that Tim had always envisaged me owning and taking over BrianMay.com when I was ready ......

A few weeks ago, in the course of a natural evolution, that time came, and Jen has been supervising the changes that have had to come as a result.

I’m very excited about the future - we have come so far already I can scarcely believe it. I never in the past felt so in touch with the World, and you Queen aficionados, and BM fanatics, and you other folks who have somehow bumped into this site on the web, because of Music, or Astronomy, or Victorian Photography, Animal Dignity Awareness, Non-smoking, or just plain curiosity about a Rock Guitarist who wants to be communicating...

THANK YOU for coming this far. To all our friends in the associated web-sites I send love and thanks and the hope that the reorganisation will not cause too much pain. I also hope we will continue to be just as interactive and close-bound by friendship and common causes.

And to all you friends out there who give me back so much - comments, photographs, questions, ideas to share - MUCH LOVE !!!!

Long may we grow!!!
